About the Band

Goat Rope hails from from the Red Bank/Asbury Park region of Central New Jersey.  They are know as one of the few, if only, bands in the area to play original Honky Tonk and Classic Country music.  Influenced by the likes of Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, George Jones and Johnny Cash, they have been entertaining at local venues for over a decade.  Their sets will often contain covers of some of the best Country Music from the 50's, 60's and 70's.
